yesterday was fancy friday!

randomly, our friend ryan comes downstairs in a suit, so we all follow and decide that we’re going to dress up, as well. so, mainly, my evening consisted of me walking around in really high heels and then a dress of my friend’s. good times, good times.

watched the superbowl. go giants!

so, a hypnotist came to uaf to do a show and isn’t leaving until wednesday. so, in an attempt to show him a good time, we invite him out to chena hot springs. the guy is so incredibly cool. we’ve got three cars full of sixteen people including him, and we show up at the hot springs, and he covers for 10 of us. like, what the hell, this guy is awesome. so, we hang out in chena, we play chicken and, when we move to the indoor pool, we play a really cool football game that’s super intense. like, i’m all cut up and everything. ( it was pretty funny because when scoring in the football game, i ran up, stopped, turned around, and fell in backwards like the running back did. )

but at midnight, they chased us out because that’s when they closed, and we got a nice group picture. 

after that, we treated him to denny’s at like, 2 in the morning, where he showed up some really cool magic tricks and some really funny ones. it was at probably 4 am when we left denny’s, and then we had to take him back to his hotel.

unfortunately, we stayed out really late and i slept through my classes today, but it was totally worth it to give this guy a good time. he also has all our numbers, and all of our signatures on an alaskan postcard. (:

totally awesome way to spend a sunday night.

seven 

this morning there was a fire alarm at 8 am because supposedly, someone had burned their french toast.

the first memory i have from the morning is my friend cameron opening my microwave and closing it over and over, thinking that it was the microwave going on. but, we eventually found out that it was definitely not a drill and someone had burned stuff and it was freakin’ ridiculous. 

also, my friend called me at like, noon, telling me how he saw people shuffling downtown and it reminded him of me. i laughed, but i passed out after the conversation, so i don’t remember much.

six 

yesterday, the mbs complex played immortals, which was an alright movie. pointless violent and cool looking gods and sexy men running around shirtless. no biggie.

today, they had a casino night, where me and a bunch of friends dressed up, looked nice, and played poker and blackjack. i rocked the blackjack table until two guys took pretty much everything and i get busting, which was quite annoying. but, i still won a good deal, and my friends got boardgames from the auction afterwards. ( by the way, we play with fake money, not real money, and then the auction is funded by the fake money )

but afterwards, everyone played with the new games they had gotten, so that’s pretty much how everyone’s night was spent. it was oodles of fun, and as soon as i can, i’ll get a picture of some dressed up people!

also, it’s been warming up recently, and supposedly, it’s supposed to be pretty warm for a while and touching into the positives this weekend. i’m pretty excited.
